The day prior to your Luxy Tan, we ask clients to shower, shave, and exfoliate.

Please avoid wearing any lotion, deodorant, or makeup to your appointment, and bring dark, loose-fitting clothing to wear home.

Additionally, we kindly ask clients to schedule any other beauty services, including facials, manicures, pedicures, lash extensions, and Botox, prior to your spray tan. (Don’t worry, your airbrush tan won’t mess up your nails, lashes, etc!)

For the Signature Luxy Tan, we recommend rinsing in the shower after 8-12 hours with warm water (no soap) until the water runs clear. If choosing the Rapid Rinse solution, clients may shower after 4 hours. Pat gently with a clean towel to dry.

Please do NOT use Dove or Olay soap. A natural and sulfate-free bar soap is recommended.

Each tan varies in its development time and can take anywhere from 2 to 24 hours to fully develop depending on what solution was used.

Your golden glow will last approximately 5-7 days. The exact time depends on adherence to proper aftercare procedures and your skin’s natural characteristics.

To ensure your tan looks great for as long as possible, we encourage clients to keep showers relatively brief, do not exfoliate, and avoid hot tubs and prolonged chlorine exposure. Keeping skin moisturized (Norvell’s tan extender or Hemp’s lotion are two great choices!) will also help maintain your glow.
